I think that it’s time to share my favorite travel skincare products! When traveling skincare can take a backseat, but maybe it doesn’t have to anymore! These products are all tried and true and ones I truly don’t travel without.
All of these products are small enough to bring on the plane with you! Without further ado, I hope you enjoy these products as much as I do!
This post is all about the best travel skincare!
1. Sunscreen

Sunscreen is always important, but it’s extra important while on an airplane. Yes! That’s right, on an airplane. Cruising altitudes are closer to the ozone layer therefore the UV radiation levels. Both of these sunscreens are lightweight, fragrance-free and moisturizing.
2. Lip balm
This lip balm deserves all of the hype that it receives. This product is easy to pack in any sized bag. There are many incredible flavors, but my top three are sweet candy, gummy bear and vanilla.
This lip balm leaves your lips feeling nourished, smooth and there’s no gummy/tacky feeling while it’s on your lips.
3. lip mask
The Laneige lip mask is similar to the lip balm I listed above, but the sleep mask is a much thicker, more luxurious product. Airplanes are notoriously incredibly drying and there’s nothing more frustrated than having dry lips. This is the perfect to apply before taking nap on an airplane to keep your lips hydrated.
4. hydrating facial mist
Does hydration mist really do anything? Yes. Let me tell you nothing feels more refreshing and energizing than spritzing your face with this hydration mist on a flight. Especially on a long flight when feeling groggy, sluggish and icky.
5. Hydration serum
This hydration serum is the second step in the Summer Fridays three step Jet Lag travel skincare set. This is a slick serum that promotes deep hydration and provides a layer of moisture to help your skin combat the dry airplane air.
6. thick Facial moisturizer
This face moisturizer is also known as a mask. It’s incredibly thick and feels like true self-care when applying it. I always feel like I’m applying a barrier that the dry air can’t possibly penetrate. This moisturizer really is super unique and special.
7. moisturizing hand sanitizer
Airplanes always feel dirty to me. I love having a nice smelling, moisturizing hand sanitizer that makes me feel clean and not dried out. The packaging of this hand sanitizer mist is sleek, doesn’t leak and is fun to apply. The product comes in many different scents that anyone and everyone can find one they like.
8. hand cream
I am pretty particular when it comes to hand lotions and creams because sometimes they’re too tacky, sometimes too oily and often too fragranced. This is a great addition to travel skincare because making sure your hands stay moisturized during travel is important.
I also think that the 2.5 fluid oz size is perfect for travel because it will last a while, but doesn’t take up too much space in your travel bag.
9. gotoob+
Now, this isn’t exactly travel skincare specific, but I love GoToob+. These leakproof travel bottles are exactly are TSA carry-on compliant (3.4 fluid ounces/100ml). These bottles are perfect for travelers who want to bring larger sized products on trips without having to bring the entire container.
I always fill these tubes with hair conditioner when traveling. Especially when I’m staying in cheap backpacker accommodations.
